Hualapai Elementary School

To provide students with an educational foundation for life-long success

Principal's Message

Hello Hualapai Families,
Well, the time has come.  AIMS testing begins.  All students in grades 3 thru 5 are required to take the AIMS assessment.  Students in 2nd grade take the Stanford 10 assessment.  All KUSD elementary schools will be taking the AIMS/S-10 test next week, April 7th thru 11th.  The tests will take most of the day, so we ask that you help us in the following manner;
1) Make sure your student is on time to school.
2) Testing runs the entire day.  Do not check your student out of school early.
3) Make appointments, such as doctor's appointments, for after school.
4) Make sure your student gets plenty of rest and eats a healthy breakfast each day.
5) Encourage your student to do his/her very best.  Even if it is difficult, encourage them to stick with it.
6) There will not be Late Start Wednesday on April 9th and April 16th due to AIMS testing.  School will begin on those two days at our regular time of 8:45.  Late-Start Weds will resume on April 23rd.
Hualapai Elementary School made great strides last year and our students performed at a very high level.  We are striving to continue with that improvement by doing everything possible for our students to have the best testing experience possible.  We thank you for your continued support.
Have a great month.
Yours in Education,
Principal – Hualapai Elementary
