Last year, Hualapai students raised over $6,000 during our Read-a-Thon. Proceeds were in part used to update our Library, including a mural (pictured).
Students at Hualapai attend Library as a special area class once every 5 school days. Students in grades K-2 are allowed to check out 1 book every other visit. Grade 3-5 students can check out 2 books. Students also participate in several activities designed to improve library skills such as picking the right books, research skills, literature appreciation and comprehension, and writing.
Some students are asked to keep their library books at schools, while others are encouraged to take them home. See your child's teacher(s) for more information.
