Dear Hualapai Families,

Welcome to a brand-new school year at Hualapai Elementary! I am honored to introduce myself as your new principal and excited to partner with you in making this a successful and inspiring year for our students.

Over the summer, our team has been working hard to prepare the school for a fantastic year of learning and growth. You’ll see some new faces on campus, along with many of our dedicated returning staff. I hope you’ll join me in giving everyone a warm Hualapai welcome!

Our mission at Hualapai Elementary is clear and purposeful: to provide all students with the educational tools to become effective citizens and leaders. Leadership is not just a goal—it’s a part of our identity. It's what we believe about our students, our staff, and our entire school community. We are committed to fostering leadership through the principles of The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People/Kids by Stephen Covey. These habits help guide our students in developing responsibility, initiative, teamwork, and vision.

At the heart of every decision we make is a simple question: Is it good for students? We strive for continuous improvement in all that we do. Some of the key strategies we’re focusing on this year include:

• Strengthening communication and collaboration

• Creating effective and transparent transitions for students and families

Our theme for the year is Building a Legacy—a powerful reminder that the work we do today shapes the future of our students, our school, and our community. Together, let’s create a legacy of excellence, leadership, and kindness.
